Meet Maddie Metheny, Manager for Partner Program Marketing. Maddie has been a vital part of the team for over four years, guiding partners by building their marketing strategy, driving demand for the services they provide, and contributing to their growth and success.

Getting started at ConnectWise

What did you do before joining ConnectWise?

I started my career at ConnectWise. I like to say that I’ve grown up here!

Being a ConnectWise colleague  

What different roles have you had with the company?

I’ve had a few different roles in the marketing department at ConnectWise. I started in international marketing, working with our Europe and Asia-Pacific colleagues to bring our message to new markets. After that, I moved into a regional field marketing role that focused on event recruitment for our roadshows and hosted guest programs. In that role, I also owned the cross-sell marketing function for the business and supported our sales team with tailored sales campaigns.

Next, I moved into a campaign manager role where I owned the demand generation function for a line of products. I started with ConnectWise Automate and then moved to legacy Continuum products after the acquisition. I also supported ConnectWise Control™ and ConnectWise Business Management campaigns for a period.

That gave me a good foundation for my next role of launching an account-based marketing strategy for ConnectWise, where I worked closely with our sales team to create a sales pipeline together through targeted campaigns. Now I'm leading our ConnectWise Partner Program marketing team, where I work with partners to build their marketing strategy and drive demand for the services they provide!

What do you enjoy about working at ConnectWise?

I love getting to work directly with our partners. It’s so rewarding to be a part of their growth journey. Many of them have huge growth goals for their businesses, and it is amazing to see their strategy and how unique it is compared to the approach of other partners. I truly believe in our mission to empower our partners to achieve their most ambitious vision of success, and I love showing up to the job every day to work with partners to make that a reality.

I also always say I have been at ConnectWise for so long because I love the people I work with. Regardless of team, department, or office location, everyone operates with a team mentality and is willing to jump in if others need help.

What is something about your job that makes you feel accomplished?

Helping guide partners with their marketing strategy and then seeing their success from the efforts we worked on together makes me feel accomplished. While it is our partner’s success, being a part of their journey is incredibly rewarding. It’s the reason I get out of bed in the morning.

What is something that you want people to know about ConnectWise?

ConnectWise is made up of a good group of people who genuinely care about the success of our partners. We aren’t perfect, but we work hard to make our partner’s experience unparalleled.

What is a big win that you are proud of?

The ConnectWise Partner Program helped partners to generate $75 million in new revenue in 2022! I couldn’t be happier that the team was able to help enable our partners to drive demand and close new business.

If you could have any superpower for 24 hours, what would it be and why?

Teleportation, so that I could travel everywhere on my bucket list!

What's your go-to karaoke song?

Dancing Queen by ABBA, hands down. If that song comes on during karaoke, I’m stealing the microphone.

What's one bucket list item you’re looking forward to?

I would love to walk along the Great Wall of China! I love traveling, and seeing incredible architecture is a favorite of mine.
