    When I stepped onto the stage at IT Nation Connect Global™ 2025, I could feel the energy in the room. Partners from around the world were ready to talk about what’s next, focusing on how AI, automation, and innovation are reshaping the way we all work. This year’s product innovation keynote, “The Platform for What’s Next: How Partners Are Scaling with ConnectWise,” centered on one simple truth I shared from the stage: data is the oxygen for AI.

    We all talk about AI’s potential, but the reality is that most MSPs are still figuring out how to make it real in their business. According to recent research, while 90% of MSPs view AI as vital to their growth, most are still in the early stages of adoption, citing challenges such as data quality issues (93%), legacy system integration (52%), and a shortage of skilled AI professionals (51%).

    That’s exactly why we built the ConnectWise Asio® platform, to break those barriers. Asio unifies data, systems, and intelligence into a single trusted layer. It now processes over 18 billion data points each month, turning raw information into context that drives smarter automation and better decision-making.     ConnectWise Asio evolution: Building a platform that delivers

    When we’re asked when Asio will be done, the answer is simple: it will never be "done". Just like iOS, Asio is a platform that continues to evolve and deliver value across every ConnectWise solution. Over the past year, the platform reached a milestone by enabling faster feature delivery, improved data orchestration, and shared services across products. Today, more than 7,000 partners use Asio across nearly 3 million endpoints. The focus ahead is adoption, acceleration, and ongoing performance improvements that drive efficiency and measurable outcomes.

    ConnectWise PSA powered by Asio: Modernization with transparency

    ConnectWise PSA powered by Asio brings service delivery, billing, and reporting into one unified experience. Over the past year, hundreds of PSA pages and core services were migrated into the Asio data layer. The focus now is on modernization, creating a faster, more intuitive, and transparent PSA experience. New capabilities include unified billing and reconciliation, improved search and grouping, adaptive layouts with drag-and-drop widgets, and granular authorization that supports entity, widget, field, and content-level controls. Partners can follow progress through a live PSA tracker updated regularly with owners, dates, and milestones.

    ConnectWise RMM rebuilt: Automation-ready and partner-driven

    ConnectWise RMM™ has undergone a full-scale transformation, rebuilt on the Asio platform to deliver speed, reliability, and intelligence at every level. As Jeff Bishop shared, “If you haven’t looked at RMM in the last 12 months, you haven’t seen it.” Over the past year, the team has completely re-engineered the product, revamping agents, patching, scripting, alerting, and monitoring, to create a modern, high-performance experience.

    This rebuilt foundation delivers 1,200 out-of-the-box monitors and alerts and more than 300 free scripts, all designed for customization and reuse. Partners can now run scripts at the system or user level, see exactly what each script does, and even clone or share them across teams, all based directly on partner feedback.

    Every change is designed with one goal: giving technicians a faster, more reliable foundation for automation and control.

    What this means for you: A faster, smarter RMM built for automation and scale that reduces noise, improves technician efficiency, and gives your team more time to focus on strategic growth instead of routine maintenance.

    Integrated security and smarter monitoring

    Security and reliability are built into every layer. ConnectWise RMM now validates all security patches every two weeks, giving partners proactive visibility into potential issues before deployment. Enhanced integration with network monitoring powered by Auvik expands visibility across devices and networks, helping technicians detect, respond, and recover faster.

    Because RMM is built natively on the Asio platform, it connects seamlessly with other ConnectWise applications on the platform, including PSA, security solutions, and BCDR. It blurs the lines between IT ops and security ops. Alerts can automatically trigger tickets or remediation actions, turning monitoring into a proactive driver of resolution rather than just response. Partners report major efficiency gains and fewer false alerts, calling the new RMM “a game changer” for productivity and operational focus.

    Proactive protection through industry-leading patch automation

    ConnectWise RMM now delivers industry-leading third-party patching that supports over 7,000 applications.

    This expanded patch catalog helps MSPs and IT teams close one of the most common attack vectors: outdated or unpatched software. By automating patch management across thousands of apps and endpoints, partners can reduce risk exposure, maintain compliance, and save hours of manual effort each week.

    Resolution not just response: How Asio unites IT and security operations

    Security operations and IT operations now work together inside Asio. ConnectWise is bridging IT operations and security operations to deliver faster, more reliable outcomes for partners.

    Automating and accelerating business continuity

    BCDR is integrated into the workflow and technicians can now virtualize a recent device snapshot in minutes if a machine is lost or isolated during an investigation. End users stay productive while remediation continues, and recovery steps are documented inside the same ticketing context.

    ConnectWise SIEM powered by Asio

    Built on the Elastic Stack—the same technology powering over half of the Fortune 500—ConnectWise SIEM™ powered by Asio provides deeper visibility and faster detection across environments. Since its launch, the team has focused on expanding integration breadth and migration simplicity.

    By early Q1, the SIEM will include 15+ new integrations and automated migration tools for partners moving from the classic environment to SIEM powered by Asio. MSPs will also gain access to a dedicated tenancy option, offering private Elastic clusters for advanced analytics, custom reporting, and performance isolation.

    MDR advancements and agentic automation

    The next evolution of ConnectWise MDR™ brings agentic intelligence into every stage of the security workflow.

    • 15-minute triage SLA: Starting in Q1, MDR triage will deliver a 15-minute service-level agreement for initial threat assessment, powered by automation that accelerates detection and analysis while maintaining accuracy.
    • Agentic response: Integrated AI agents handle classification, enrichment, and recommended actions while keeping expert analysts in control for oversight and learning.
    • Proof of work reporting: Each detection event will include a “hero report,” a human-readable summary that outlines every automated and analyst-driven step, enabling partners to clearly demonstrate value in customer QBRs.
