ConnectWise

PARTNER SUCCESS STORY

150% Team Growth and Major Customer Wins, powered by ConnectWise Asio® and the ConnectWise Partner Program

Secure Network Services (SNS) is a managed service provider based in Central Florida, serving businesses along the I-4 corridor from Tampa to Orlando. SNS specializes in cybersecurity, backup and disaster recovery, remote monitoring and management, and NOC/SOC services for small to mid-sized businesses across various industries, including healthcare, construction, and legal.

Challenge

Secure Network Services (SNS) needed to scale its business while maintaining exceptional service quality and customer trust. Limited marketing resources, minimal brand visibility, and a lack of targeted lead generation made it increasingly difficult for the small MSP to compete effectively and achieve sustainable growth in a highly competitive technology services market. SNS also needed a way to unify operations and marketing under one platform to improve visibility and performance.

Solution

By leveraging the ConnectWise Partner Program and  ConnectWise Asio® platform, SNS accessed MDF funds, GlassHive CRM, and marketing consultant support to transform its growth strategy. The Asio platform unified PSA, ConnectWise RMM, and security operations, while GlassHive delivered real-time marketing insights. These tools enabled targeted campaigns, educational events, and a dedicated BDR for consistent outreach—supported by automation, expert guidance, and professional branding that elevated SNS’s market presence.

Results

SNS grew from four to ten employees in three years, secured major clients in healthcare and construction, and achieved a substantial increase in monthly recurring revenue. The ConnectWise Asio® platform streamlined operations and boosted efficiency, while the ConnectWise Partner Program delivered a consistent marketing strategy, event support, and sales coaching. This unified approach positioned SNS for long-term scalability, competitive advantage, and ongoing customer loyalty across multiple industries.

Secure Network Services (SNS), an MSP headquartered in Central Florida, has built its success on innovation and strategic partnerships. Under CEO Rob Gelsinger’s leadership, SNS has leveraged the ConnectWise Partner Program and the ConnectWise Asio® platform—including Market Development Funds (MDF), GlassHive CRM, and integrated service tools—to scale operations, enhance client engagement, and achieve measurable growth.

Leading With Vision: How SNS Embraced Cutting-Edge Solutions

SNS serves businesses across Florida’s Gulf Coast and Space Coast, focusing on the I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando. The company provides cybersecurity solutions, backup and disaster recovery, remote monitoring and management (RMM), and NOC and SOC services.

From its early days, SNS embraced a forward-thinking mindset. “We’re not a big, sit-and-wait kind of MSP,” says Gelsinger. “We like to be on the leading edge of things.” This philosophy led SNS to adopt ConnectWise solutions nearly nine years ago, starting with ConnectWise PSA tools and later expanding into ConnectWise RMM and cybersecurity offerings.

As a growing MSP with a lean team—just four employees three years ago and now ten—SNS faced several challenges. Consistent, high-quality marketing is essential for growth, but smaller MSPs often lack the budget and staff to execute campaigns effectively. Generic marketing efforts rarely attract the right prospects, and SNS needed a way to focus on specific verticals and client profiles.

At the same time, rapid growth required balancing operational efficiency with strategic expansion. “We had to figure out how to scale without sacrificing service quality,” Gelsinger explains.

Early Platform Adoption That Sparked Long-Term Success

SNS’s relationship with ConnectWise began with ConnectWise PSA adoption and deepened with the ConnectWise Asio platform. Over time, SNS integrated multiple ConnectWise offerings, including ConnectWise RMM for proactive monitoring, the Dedicated Tech Program, and NOC and ConnectWise SOC Services for enhanced security. Gelsinger emphasizes the value of early adoption: “We were chomping at the bit when ConnectWise RMM came out. We wanted to be on the front edge of that.”

The ConnectWise Asio platform became the backbone of SNS’s operations, providing a unified ecosystem for service delivery and growth. By integrating ConnectWise PSA, ConnectWise RMM, and security operations with marketing tools like offered through the ConnectWise Partner Program, like GlassHive, SNS achieved operational efficiency, real-time visibility, and scalability—all within a single, cohesive platform. “It’s given me the ability to see things I couldn’t see before,” says Gelsinger. “Our sales team can see campaign engagement in real time, and the marketing consultant sets up and runs campaigns for us. Then our salespeople and caller can follow up when prospects are actually looking.”

This seamless integration allowed SNS to connect marketing and service operations, creating a distinct competitive edge.

Building a Self-Sustaining Growth Cycle with ConnectWise Partner Program Support

One of SNS’s most impactful initiatives was using MDF to fund a Business Development Representative (BDR) dedicated to appointment setting. For a small MSP, employing a full-time BDR is often cost-prohibitive. MDF funds covered a significant portion of this expense, enabling SNS to maintain consistent outreach. “It’s a pretty hefty cost, and because we’re able to offset those costs, we can keep that consistency of marketing that we really need,” Gelsinger explains.

This approach created a self-sustaining cycle: increased sales of ConnectWise products led to higher MDF allocation, which in turn funded more marketing and lead generation, ultimately driving further sales and revenue growth.

“It’s an element of marketing you don’t even realize is there. It’s one of the biggest secrets in plain sight. You’ve got resources for cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery—plus marketing collateral and people who genuinely care."

The ConnectWise Partner Program: Turning Education Into Engagement

SNS also uses MDF and ConnectWise resources to host educational events, not just for immediate client acquisition but to position itself as a thought leader. “One of the big things we want to use MDF for is to hold events—not so much to pull in prospects immediately, but as education,” says Gelsinger.

Recent examples include a Cybersecurity Awareness Month webinar featuring ConnectWise speaker Jim Peterson, where SNS hosted a session on ransomware and its impact on small businesses. The event was well-received, and SNS repurposed the recording into social media snippets, extending its reach and engagement. “It’s just really effective on multiple levels for us to be able to use ConnectWise (expertise and) resources,” Gelsinger adds.

Connecting Sales and Marketing Through GlassHive’s Real-Time Intelligence

The introduction of GlassHive into the ConnectWise Partner Program revolutionized SNS’s marketing operations. Gelsinger calls it “a game changer,” citing benefits such as instant branding, real-time insights, and concierge support. “It’s given me the ability to see things I couldn’t see before,” Gelsinger explains. “Our sales team can see campaign engagement in real time, and the concierge sets up and runs campaigns for us. Then our salespeople and callers can follow up when prospects are actually looking.”

This integration has allowed SNS to connect with prospects at the right moment, improving conversion rates and strengthening client relationships.

How The ConnectWise Partner Program Drove Measurable Growth

SNS’s strategic marketing efforts have delivered tangible results. One notable success involved a medical practice targeted for seven months using GlassHive campaigns. Initially, the prospect showed little interest—but consistent engagement paid off. “We signed a customer that started at about $3,000 a month, and now they’re up to $16,000,” Gelsinger shared. “They’ve opened three more office locations in that time.”

Another win came from a construction company that engaged with SNS after seeing its professional campaigns and drip marketing. GlassHive insights allowed the BDR (business development representative) to time outreach perfectly, converting the lead into a long-term customer. “We wouldn’t have that ability without these tools—and we wouldn’t have these tools if we weren’t part of the ConnectWise Partner Program,” Gelsinger emphasizes.

Beyond tools and resources, Gelsinger credits the ConnectWise Partner Program team for SNS’s success. “It’s not just the resources—it’s the people,” he says. “They genuinely want you to succeed. Bri Allen, Jamie Tarrou, Liz Morgan—all of them want to see us succeed because our success is their success.”

When asked what he would tell an MSP unfamiliar with the ConnectWise Partner Program, Gelsinger says: “It’s an element of marketing you don’t even realize is there. It’s one of the biggest secrets in plain sight. You’ve got resources for cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery—plus marketing collateral and people who genuinely care. Especially with GlassHive and the concierge, you’re getting a marketing team member working for you. If you can leverage that to your advantage over your competition, why wouldn’t you—especially when you’re getting money to do it?”

Positioned for Scalability with ConnectWise Asio® and ConnectWise Partner Program

SNS has grown from four employees to ten in just three years, while maintaining consistent marketing through monthly webinars, targeted campaigns, and ongoing outreach. Revenue has increased significantly through strategic wins, and operational efficiency has improved thanks to automation through the ConnectWise Asio platform.

Most importantly, SNS has strengthened customer relationships and positioned itself for long-term scalability. “While I’m not seeing massive revenue in my stream personally, it’s all going into the company, which is helping us grow,” Gelsinger concludes. “Hopefully, that’ll start to pay off over the next few years, where we see real strategic scalability.”

Secure Network Services demonstrates how small MSPs can achieve significant growth by strategically leveraging vendor partnerships. Through the ConnectWise Asio platform, MDF resources, marketing support, and dedicated partner engagement, SNS transformed its approach to business development, scaled its operations, and positioned itself for continued success.

“It’s given me the ability to see things I couldn’t see before,” says Gelsinger. “Our sales team can see campaign engagement in real time, and the marketing consultant sets up and runs campaigns for us. Then our salespeople and caller can follow up when prospects are actually looking.”
