x360Recover Hypervisor protection release

Product team call

Get an early look at Hyper-V protection in x360Recover

Hypervisor protection is coming to Axcient x360Recover™ from ConnectWise, starting with Microsoft Hyper-V. Join the x360Recover product team to get a first look at upcoming Hyper-V protection, ask your questions, and learn how to sign up for Early Access.

With the planned release, partners will be able to connect x360Recover to a Hyper-V host, discover its guest virtual machines (VMs), and manage protection from one place. This host-level approach can reduce the need to deploy and maintain a backup agent inside every protected VM, helping simplify deployment, improve consistency, and reduce management overhead across virtualized environments.

Join this product team call to get an early look at what we are building, hear directly from the team behind the release, and ask Product Manager Casey Davis your questions about how Hyper-V protection will work.

What we’ll cover:

During the call, the x360Recover product team will walk through:

  • Host-level VM discovery: See how x360Recover can connect to a Hyper-V host and discover its guest VMs
  • Simplified protection management: Learn how discovered VMs can be automatically scheduled for protection or managed individually
  • Centralized visibility: Preview how the Hypervisor host view brings guest VM protection status and controls together.
  • The planned recovery experience: Get a look at the initial recovery workflow for protected Hyper-V VMs.
  • Early Access: Understand the scope of the initial release, which environments are the best fit, and how to sign up to participate.

The initial release is planned to support VM recovery through the vault and bare-metal recovery from disk image.

Hyper-V is the first step

Microsoft Hyper-V is the first planned hypervisor platform for x360Recover. VMware, Proxmox, and other hypervisors are being considered for future roadmap phases and are not part of the initial Early Access release.

Whether you manage many VMs across client environments, have workloads where installing software inside the guest is difficult, or simply want a more centralized way to manage virtual machine protection, this is your opportunity to see what is coming and provide feedback directly to the product team.

Bring your questions. See the upcoming workflow. Help shape what comes next.
