Meet our Leadership Team
















With more than 20 years of technology, sales channel management and IT market experience, Jason Magee has spent his career immersed in the world of MSPs and VARs. He joined ConnectWise in 2011 and was named CEO in February 2019, succeeding co-founder Arnie Bellini.
Prior to becoming CEO, Jason served as President and Chief Operating Officer of ConnectWise, overseeing corporate strategy, operations, and procurement, as well as the product, customer success and IT Nation teams. Jason’s track record at ConnectWise includes launching its international expansion into the UK and Australia and its highly successful EcoSystems business. Jason oversaw several key acquisitions, including ScreenConnect -- now known as ConnectWise Control™ -- and HTG Peer Groups, now known as IT Nation Evolve, as well as HashInclude, Sienna Group and an investment in Perch Security.
Before joining ConnectWise, Jason held director-level positions at CA Technologies, managing teams, channel partners, strategic alliances and marketing budgets. There he built and launched industry-leading programs, partner incentives, and vendor initiatives. Earlier on, Jason spent 5 years gaining industry and channel experience at reseller companies Interactive Futures and Global Computers, where he held sales, marketing, and product management positions.
Jason is serving his second consecutive year on CompTIAs board of directors, after joining in February 2018. He grew up in New York and has an MBA from Clarkson University.

Brad Surminsky is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for ConnectWise. He is responsible for overseeing accounting, finance, treasury, tax, legal, business operations, facilities and procurement for ConnectWise.
Brad brings more than 25 years of experience working in software, fintech and business services, along with extensive merger and acquisition experience with multiple private equity-backed, public, and private companies. He began his role with ConnectWise in November 2019.
Prior to joining ConnectWise, Brad served as CFO of CentralSquare Technologies, where he was responsible for all general and administrative functions including finance, accounting, treasury and business optimization, and also oversaw several mergers and acquisitions.
Brad has also served as CFO at ACNielsen Canada; divisional CFO at D+H and ADP; and vice president of corporate finance at Unihost Corporation.
Originally from Toronto, Brad received his BS in Commerce and Finance from the University of Toronto and is a licensed CPA and CA with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. In his free time, Brad enjoys golfing.

Jen Locklear is Chief People Officer for ConnectWise. She has responsibility for engaging and developing high-performing ConnectWise colleagues, facilitating a professional environment that cultivates dynamic teams obsessed with partner success, and helping individuals grow and meet their career goals.
Prior to joining to ConnectWise in 2016, Jen held leadership positions at WilsonHCG as chief people and culture officer, and at Healthesystems as vice president of human relations.
Jen has earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Senior Certified Professional (SCP) certifications as well as a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. She has served on the board of directors for Tampa Connection, and was recognized by HR Shield and the Tampa Tribune as one of the top Tampa Bay human resources professionals.

Geoffrey Willison is Chief Operating Officer (COO) for ConnectWise. He is responsible for the Post-Sales activities of the company: Onboarding & Consulting; Partner Education & Communication; service delivery in the NOC, SOC and Help Desk; Product Support; Partner Success and Partner Care; and the industry-leading IT Nation. His teams are committed to helping partners grow and fulfill their business objectives with ConnectWise products, services, and thought leadership.
Geoffrey brings more than 24 years of technology experience, including 10 years as a consultant with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Deloitte’s Braxton Associates. He began his role as COO in November 2019 following ConnectWise’s acquisition of Continuum, where he had served as Chief Financial Officer since February 2017. While at Continuum, Geoffrey was responsible for aligning Continuum’s financial planning, strategy and budget with the company’s mission and growth plan.
Prior to Continuum, Geoffrey served in a number of leadership positions, including CEO of Valore, COO and acting CFO at Plastiq, and President of Edvisors.
Geoffrey is also a board member at School the World, a non-profit that fights extreme poverty at its roots by bringing quality education to the world's poorest children.
He received an A.B. cum laude from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. In his free time, Geoffrey enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and skiing. He currently resides in Boston.

Clint Maddox is Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for ConnectWise. He has more than 25 years of technology leadership experience, including 15 years in the service provider market. Clint is responsible for accelerating corporate growth, focusing on integrating GTM plans, pipeline management, sales and demand generation process maturity, and talent management. Clint started his role as CRO in December 2019 after serving as a strategic consultant to ConnectWise CEO Jason Magee since July 2019.
Prior to joining ConnectWise, Clint served as vice president of global partners at Broadcom, where he was responsible for building and managing a complete go-to-market strategy for the company’s worldwide partner business, and helping partners solve complex problems for themselves and their customers.
Clint earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Auburn University in 1993. He lives in Tampa, Florida with his family and enjoys golfing, hiking and bird hunting.

As Chief Product Officer, Jeff Bishop oversees product management and development, platform infrastructure and ecosystem technology at ConnectWise. Jeff’s previous positions include Vice President of Ecosystem and Vice President of ConnectWise Control, a software that allows clients’ computers to be remotely controlled for fast, reliable, secure remote support. Before joining ConnectWise in 2015, he was a field service engineer for Machine Vision Technology (MVT) out of Dublin, Ireland. Jeff’s extensive experience includes sales, marketing, engineering, documentation, product management and more.

Scott Marshall is senior vice president of marketing and community for ConnectWise. He leads efforts to build brand awareness, cultivate prospect interest, and facilitate customer engagement. His responsibilities include overseeing the company’s brand evolution, public relations, social media, multi-disciplinary marketing campaigns, web development, and community interactions.
When Scott joined ConnectWise in 2015, he brought with him more than 30 years of marketing expertise. He founded and ran a marketing services firm that specialized in helping large technology suppliers develop and launch marketing campaigns to stimulate business for their channel partners. Prior to that, Scott served as vice president of North American channel marketing at CA Technologies. Additional past leadership positions include vice president of professional services and vice president of strategic accounts for Adlex (later acquired by Compuware), vice president of sales for General DataComm, director of channel marketing for Proteon, senior manager of alternate channels for Wang Laboratories, and director of marketing for Hayden Software.
Scott was raised in the Boston area, and has an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. His bachelor’s degree in mathematics is from Tufts University. He and his wife Karla raised their three children in the Boston area. Although Scott now lives in Florida and takes advantage of the great weather to golf and play tennis, he remains an avid Boston sports team fan.

Steve Cochran is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of ConnectWise, where he is charged with setting the technological course for the company in 2020 and beyond. He is also responsible for assuring a smooth and productive merger between ConnectWise, ITBoost and Continuum, leading all of the technology between the merged organizations and ensuring it is optimized for partners.
Steve started his role in December 2019 and brings more than 30 years of technology industry experience to ConnectWise.
Prior to joining ConnectWise, he served as CTO at Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX), a former Thoma Bravo portfolio company. During his tenure there, Steve architected the strategy, development and migration of the company’s core assets and customers to the AWS public cloud, profoundly transforming GHX. Prior to that, Steve served as vice president of global product management for GXS.
Steve earned a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. In his spare time, Steve enjoys biking, climbing and spending time with family and friends.

With more than 20 years of experience in Information Security, Tom Greco is ConnectWise’s Chief Information Security Officer. In this role, Tom is responsible for ConnectWise’s overall security strategy, including identifying and implementing security practices, policies and solutions, and driving best practices for infrastructure and application security. He and his team also keep colleagues and the executive leadership team educated on all matters related to security.
Tom comes to ConnectWise after four years at Citi, where he served as the Senior Vice President and International Group Information Security Officer. While there, Thomas established Citi’s Mexico application security organization and successfully led a multi-disciplined team in combatting high-volume, automated cyberattacks.
Prior to his tenure at Citi, Tom held senior positions at several leading companies, including: Senior Vice President and CISO at EverBank; Director of Global Corporate Security and Privacy at Global Forex Trading; and Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Star Tickets, Inc.
Tom has a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from Old Dominion University in Virginia, where he also received a Master of Science in Physics. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Central Michigan University.

With 15 years of experience in the technology industry, Chris Timms joins the ConnectWise team as the Executive Vice President of Growth. In this role, Chris is responsible for overseeing corporate strategy, corporate development, the partner ecosystem and helping drive innovation.
Prior to joining ConnectWise, Chris spent the last seven years at ACI Worldwide, a market-leading payments technology company. At ACI, Chris held several different roles in operations, strategy, and product management. He most recently served as vice president for market strategy, strategic pricing, and market intelligence, and led these functions globally.
Chris has worked across a multitude of industries, including telecommunications, retail, media and entertainment, energy and utilities, and payments. Chris spent the first eight years of his career in management consulting at IBM Global Business Services and Bain & Company. In these roles, Chris helped senior executives develop corporate strategy, go-to-market planning, innovation and growth plans, and improve operational performance.
Chris is originally from Brazil. He received his B.A. cum laude from The University of Texas at Austin, where he was a double major in Honors Economics and Honors Latin American Studies. Chris received his M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded the Joseph Wharton Fellowship.


Susmit Sen is the Vice President of Finance, ConnectWise India operations. He is responsible for leading all finance, legal and billing support teams and operations in India. He also provides integrated planning, collaborative budgeting and financial guidance through strategic vision and financial analysis. Susmit works with the executive team to drive profitable growth and assumes legal responsibility for Continuum’s Indian branch.
Susmit began his current role in January 2019, prior to ConnectWise’s acquisition of Continuum in October of 2019. He brings more than 25 years of finance experience, including 17 years in the technology industry.
Prior to Continuum, Susmit held several leadership positions, including that of Regional Director, of CFO Centre India, Head of Finance and Accounting, of Sungard Availability Services for India, and Chief Financial Officer of Oceans Connect and e-Nxt Financials (A TATA Enterprise). He also held senior managerial roles in Accenture, HP-EDS, Glaxo-Smith Kline and Coca-Cola.
Susmit earned his undergraduate degree in commerce from St. Xavier’s College in Kolkata and a professional degree as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He also pursued a certificate course for Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India; and completed the Senior Management Program from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
In his spare time, Susmit enjoys canvas painting and sketching using oil, acrylic and watercolors. He also enjoys playing the drums, singing and the harmonica. He has a particular interest in western music from the 1960s to the 1990s and won numerous championships in table tennis and cricket at the collegiate and inter-office levels.

Swami Nathan is vice president of engineering at ConnectWise. He is responsible for building a high-performing team culture and a scalable organization that delivers quality products to ConnectWise partners. Nathan acts as a catalyst for the company’s engineering transformation, focusing on scalable processes, transparency and adoption of newer technology stack and methodologies that result in faster delivery of features partners want.
In 2015, Nathan joined Continuum, which was acquired by ConnectWise in 2019.
Prior to that, he worked as vice president of technology solutions for V2Solutions and country head and board member for IMC Global Services.
Nathan graduated from the Indian Institute of Science with a master’s degree in engineering and from Bharathidasan University with a master’s degree in physics, and brings over 20 years experience in engineering to ConnectWise. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys road trips and camping with his wife of 13 years.

Malathi Rai is the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for ConnectWise. She is responsible for managing the entire gamut of HR functions from Talent Acquisition to talent management, Compensation & Rewards, branding and CSR. Administration and facility management of the three offices in India are also part of her portfolio.
Malathi brings more than 25 years of experience working in different industries ranging from manufacturing and media to ITES, Software Services and Software Product companies. She has managed teams in several geographies including the UK, Taiwan, South Korea and Sri Lanka. She began her current role in November 2019 following ConnectWise’s acquisition of Continuum, where she had served in the same role since May 2017.
Prior to Continuum, Malathi held several leadership positions, including Head of Human Resources at both AVEVA Technologies, a product company in the area of engineering design and Lionbridge Technologies, one of the world’s leading localization companies, that also had Software services as one of its offerings.
Originally from Jamshedpur, India, Malathi earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Economics from Madras University, an MBA in Human Resources from Xaviers Labour Relations Institute in Jamshedpur; and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Programming and Applications from the National Computing Centre, UK, where she was an All-India Silver medalist.

Jitendra Pathak is the Senior Vice President of Service Delivery for ConnectWise. He is responsible for leading the service delivery and operations for ConnectWise’s remote monitoring, backup/disaster recovery, and security products in India. He is also responsible for driving transformation of service delivery to enhance partner experiences and efficiency, as well as supporting the automation of services and products.
Jitendra brings more than 20 years of experience in service operations; remote delivery - automation and tools; process and standardization; complex program management; and crisis management. He began his current role in November 2019, following ConnectWise’s acquisition of Continuum, where he served in the same role since 2016.
Prior to Continuum, Jitendra held several leadership roles, including Associate Vice President at Vodafone Shared Services India, and Head of Delivery, Remote Services, at Wipro Limited. .
Jitendra earned his engineering degree from Nagpur University and a post-graduate diploma in business administration from Sardar Patel University in India.
In his spare time, Jitendra enjoys playing cricket and badminton, and traveling to remote rural areas in India. He also serves as a mentor at the Pi Jam Foundation, a non-profit organization working to provide STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education and resources to underprivileged children in rural India. Jitendra resides in Pune, India with his wife and daughter.
