Manny Rivelo
Manny Rivelo is a seasoned technology executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence across global software, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology organizations. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of ConnectWise, where he leads the company’s strategic vision to empower managed service providers (MSPs) with industry-leading software, services, and community-centric solutions.
Before joining ConnectWise, Manny served as CEO of Forcepoint, guiding the cybersecurity company through transformational initiatives and market expansion. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at several industry leaders, including F5 Networks, Arista Networks, and Cisco Systems, where he led global sales, product strategy, customer success, and business development functions. He also held executive roles at AppViewX and served as a Senior Operating Partner at Francisco Partners Consulting.
Manny’s expertise spans go-to-market strategy, cloud computing, security architectures, and scaling high-performance teams in rapidly evolving technology markets. He has also served on multiple boards and advisory roles across tech companies and startups. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology and is widely recognized for his strategic leadership and passion for building innovative, customer-focused organizations.
Mike Lipps
Mike Lipps is an Operating Partner at Thoma Bravo. Mike has over 30 years of experience in both public company and private equity software investments, having held numerous executive leadership and board positions in world-class technology companies for investors, including Thoma Bravo, Hg Capital, TA Associates, K1 Capital, and Genstar Capital. He has an established track record of building and leading multiple rule of 50+ PE-backed companies that have generated a combined $5B+ in investor value. He specializes in strategically accretive M&A, having completed over 25 successful transactions in his career, in addition to human capital / workforce transformation and business process management. Most recently, Mike was CEO of Intelerad Medical Systems. During his tenure, he tripled company revenue and EBITDA, acquiring and integrating seven businesses to build the leading global radiology practice imaging platform. Before Intelerad, he led the rapid growth and market success of insightsoftware. As CEO, he grew revenues 7x and EBITDA 10x while acquiring 15 businesses and building a global leader in financial budgeting and reporting software. Previously, Mike was the Division CEO at LexisNexis, responsible for a portfolio of award-winning software products serving global law firms and corporations. There, he led the creation and management of the LexisNexis Technology Center, which was named North Carolina Technology Workplace of the Year in 2012 by the North Carolina Technology Association. The North Carolina Triangle Business Journal awarded Mike CIO of the Year in 2014. Mike spent the first 14 years of his career at Intuit Inc., where he led several software businesses, including QuickBooks, the #1 rated US small business financial software application. He has a background in software product management, marketing, and operations.
Jim Hagan
James (Jim) Hagan is an Operating Partner at Thoma Bravo. Jim brings more than 20 years of experience in helping public and private equity-backed software companies grow and scale. He currently is the CFO at MedeAnalytics, a Thoma Bravo portfolio company where he has served since 2016. Jim's prior experience includes various management roles, including COO, CFO and interim-CEO at Forcepoint, a global cybersecurity company where he oversaw revenue growth from $365 million to $580 million. Before Forcepoint, he served in various finance roles at Websense and Fair Isaac (FICO), and he worked in both the Industrial and Global Financial Sponsors groups at Lehman Brothers. Jim earned his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and his BA degree in Economics from UC San Diego.
Michael Perone
Michael Perone has been a pioneer in the high-tech industry for more than 30 years. Michael's sales enablement, lead generation, and online marketing strategies have set industry standards that countless other companies emulate today. Michael co-founded Barracuda Networks (NYSE: CUDA) in 2003. As Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, he led worldwide communications and marketing strategies, including corporate brand management and identity. Under his marketing leadership, Barracuda grew to over $400M in annual revenue and executed a successful IPO. Prior to Barracuda, Michael co-founded and served as President and Board Member for Address.com, a leading free email and Internet access service that reached more than 3.5 million users (acquired by WhitePages). He also co-founded Spinway Inc. (acquired by Kmart Corporation), a free ISP that powered retail branded ISPs, including Kmart's Bluelight.com Internet service, as well as Coscto, Barnes and Noble, Yahoo, Home Depot, and many others. Additionally, Michael co-founded Affinity Path, a private-label ISP that powered and supported thousands of ISPs throughout North America. He also has held systems engineering positions with GE Aerospace. In 2007, Michael was named by Ernst & Young a “Technology Entrepreneur of the Year for Northern California” award recipient.
Andrew Almeida
Andrew Almeida is a partner on the Flagship team at Thoma Bravo. Based in Miami, he joined the firm in 2012 as an associate, and today focuses on supporting and growing the firm's leading cybersecurity practice. Prior to Thoma Bravo, he worked in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Andrew graduated from The University of Wisconsin–Madison with a B.A. in economics and B.B.A. in finance and holds an M.S. from Vanderbilt University.
Seth Boro
Seth Boro is a Managing Partner at Thoma Bravo, where he is responsible for finding and executing new deals, growing portfolio companies as an active board member, and helping to manage the firm. Seth also leads the firm’s infrastructure software and cybersecurity strategy. Based in San Francisco, he joined Thoma Bravo in 2005, then became a Partner in 2010 and a Managing Partner in 2013. He previously was part of the investment team at Summit Partners, where he was involved in private equity investments in the technology and business services sectors. Seth also worked as an analyst with investment bank Credit Suisse in Toronto. He has been featured in Mergers & Acquisitions Magazine as one of the “Rising Stars” of private equity and was named by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the region’s “40 Under 40” for his business leadership contributions in building the Bay Area’s future. Seth earned his MBA from Stanford University and his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University School of Business.
Jim Pflaging
Jim Pflaging is a Thoma Bravo Operating Advisor and has supported the firm on cybersecurity matters since 2013. He is also the managing partner at Cynergy Partners a cyber advisory firm focused on helping clients accelerate growth, create compelling exits, and better respond to board-level cyber governance. Currently, he serves on the board of directors of ConnectWise, Imperva, Sophos, Veracode, CoalFire, SailPoint, and Secure Code Warrior. He has over 30 years of Silicon Valley experience including 15 years as CEO of cybersecurity and data management companies.
Mohnish Gandhi
Mohnish Gandhi is a Vice President on the Flagship team at Thoma Bravo. Based in San Francisco, he joined the firm in 2018. Previously he worked in investment banking and technology M&A for Evercore. He holds a BBA degree in Finance and Business Honors from the McCombs School of Business and a BA, Plan II Honors from The University of Texas.
