PARTNER SUCCESS STORY
Absolute Security Creates Differentiated MSP Value Through Certified Integration with ConnectWise RMM™
Absolute Security, headquartered in Seattle, Washington, provides firmware-embedded cybersecurity solutions for endpoint resilience, visibility, and control. Their services include device geolocation, automated application healing, and pre-OS recovery. As a ConnectWise integration partner with a certified ConnectWise RMMTM integration, Absolute Security empowers MSPs to manage and secure devices through a single, unified platform.
Challenge
MSPs face growing complexity in managing thousands of devices across multiple platforms, leading to inefficiencies and security gaps. With limited visibility, unreliable application uptime, and fragmented toolsets, they struggle to maintain control and resilience. Absolute Security addresses these challenges by unifying management and security through deep firmware-level integration with ConnectWise.
Solution
Absolute Security overcame its limited visibility in the MSP market by becoming a ConnectWise integration partner and achieving a certified ConnectWise RMM TM integration within the ConnectWise Asio® platform. This allowed them to embed their firmware-level resilience technology into the ConnectWise ecosystem, offering MSPs seamless device visibility, automated healing, and pre-OS recovery—all from a single interface.
Results
Through its certified integration with ConnectWise RMMTM on Asio® and participation in the ConnectWise integration program, the company expects to drive adoption, simplify operations, and strengthen partner margins.
When Absolute Security (Absolute) entered the managed service provider (MSP) space, it brought with it a bold vision: to deliver enterprise-grade resilience and security to small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) through a deeply integrated partnership with ConnectWise.
Traditionally known for its presence in the Fortune 50, Absolute saw an opportunity to bring its BIOS-embedded technology—already present on over 600 million devices worldwide—into the hands of MSPs who needed it most. “We’ve always wanted visibility below the OS layer,” said Gene Kim, VP of the MSP Program at Absolute.
At the heart of the integration is Absolute Resilience for MSPs, a solution embedded in the tamper-proof area of device firmware. This unique architecture enables three core capabilities: Discover and Guard, Heal, and Rehydrate. “When SMBs see what we can do from the firmware level, it’s like discovering a superpower they didn’t know they had.”
Certified Integration Unlocks Scalable, Centralized Device Management
Absolute’s participation in the ConnectWise Integration program enabled the company to build a certified integration on the ConnectWise Asio® platform. This certification not only validated Absolute’s technical alignment with ConnectWise standards but also unlocked access to the broader ConnectWise ecosystem.
These modules allow MSPs to geolocate, freeze, or wipe devices remotely; automatically restore critical applications like Intune, BitLocker and SentinelOne ; and even reimage or surgically repair systems pre-OS—all from within the ConnectWise Asio® platform. “Having a single pane of glass [ConnectWise Asio®] to manage all of this is a game-changer,” said Kim. “We’ve eliminated the swivel-chair problem and cut down on ticket noise dramatically.”
The integration is designed for ease of use. With a one-time configuration and API-level integration, MSPs can deploy and manage Absolute’s capabilities directly through ConnectWise Asio®. “It’s plug-and-play,” Kim noted. “We were up and running in no time, and the usage-based model makes it easy to scale.”
For many MSPs, the value proposition is clear. “This isn’t just another endpoint tool,” said Kim. “It’s the glue that holds our security stack together—and makes sure it stays running.”
To ensure continued relevance, Absolute is launching a Customer Advisory Board and focusing on high Net Promoter Scores (NPS). “We’re listening closely to what MSPs need—not just technically, but in terms of enablement, training, and margin protection,” Kim added.
Showing Up, Standing Out: Absolute’s Impact at IT Nation Secure™
The reception at IT Nation Secure™ was overwhelmingly positive. “The caliber of conversations has been incredible,” Kim shared. “Once we explain what we do, the response is always, ‘I didn’t know that was possible.’”
For prospective solution partners considering the ConnectWise Integration program, Kim offers this advice: “Be partner-first. Build something easy to use, support it well, and show up for the community. That’s how you build trust.”
And that’s exactly what Absolute is doing. “We’re not just here to sell,” Kim concluded. “We’re here to be part of the ConnectWise ecosystem—to help partners grow, protect their customers, and bounce back stronger from whatever comes next.”
