The ConnectWise Platform™ reimagined for the agentic AI era

One platform for the teams powering modern IT

Managed service providers (MSPs) and IT teams are managing more complexity than ever before, while the need to move quickly has never been greater. Customer expectations continue to rise, security threats continue to evolve, and teams are being asked to do more while maintaining service quality, operational efficiency, and profitability.

For years, the industry responded to growing complexity the same way: add another tool.  But every new application created another silo. Data became fragmented. Workflows became disconnected. Teams spent more time navigating systems than driving outcomes.

We saw where this was heading years ago and reached a simple conclusion: the answer was never another application. The answer was a platform.

Today, the platform vision becomes reality.

The enhanced ConnectWise Platform represents over four years of investment across service management, cybersecurity, automation, data infrastructure, and AI. It brings together the systems MSPs and IT teams rely on every day and transforms them into a connected operating model built for the future of IT.

The industry has outgrown point solutions

Our vision was to move away from a collection of products to create a platform that connects the technologies IT solution providers trust to keep their business running and turns them into something greater than the sum of their parts.

Over the last four years, our product and engineering teams have worked toward a unified goal: transforming ConnectWise from a portfolio of products into a true platform.

That work required significant investment in cloud architecture, data infrastructure, workflows, automation, and AI. It required us to rethink how our products connect, how data moves across systems, and how intelligence can become part of the operational fabric itself.

The result is the evolving ConnectWise Platform.

Built on a secure, multi-tenant cloud architecture, the platform provides the common services that power MSP and IT operations, from administration and security to service delivery, reporting, analytics, automation, and extensibility.  Rather than operating as isolated systems, solutions across the ConnectWise Platform now share a unified operating environment.

This framework matters because the future of IT will be defined by how effectively organizations turn information into decisions and decisions into action.

    Introducing the Predictive Intelligence Platform

At the core of the ConnectWise Platform is a unified data foundation that brings together customer information, service activity, workflow context, documentation, and security intelligence into a shared data layer. With a common foundation in place, information can move more freely across systems, workflows can operate with greater context, and intelligence can act on a more complete picture of the business.

Common data models, governance controls, access policies, and APIs create a consistent operational environment across every solution.

Built upon that architecture sits the ConnectWise Agentic™ layer.

This is where AI, orchestration, workflow intelligence, and robotic process automation (RPA) come together. Rather than operating as disconnected tools, these capabilities work from shared context and intelligence.

The third layer comprises the solutions that run the business, from PSA and RMM to SIEM, Managed EDR, business continuity, and customer experience. Bringing these applications and capabilities together on a shared platform creates something greater than a collection of individual tools. It enables data, operations, and intelligence to work together, giving organizations a connected and more efficient way to operate. At the top of the platform sit purpose-built AI agents designed to execute specific workflows across service delivery, security operations, compliance, customer support, accounting, endpoint management, and more.

Together, these layers enable what we call the Predictive IT model: an operational outcome where data, intelligence, and action operate as one system.

The AI advantage starts with PSA data

One of the most significant milestones in this evolution is PSA built directly into the ConnectWise Platform instead of operating as a typical connected point solution.

PSA sits at the center of platform performance and leveraging the unified data the platform creates. This fundamentally changes how most MSPs and IT teams operate. It contains years of business context, organizational knowledge, and customer information. That information represents one of the most valuable assets to MSPs and IT teams.

For AI to deliver meaningful outcomes, it needs access to that context. No two MSPs or IT teams operate the same way. Every organization develops its own service delivery model, operational processes, and customer experience standards.

The ConnectWise Platform is designed to learn from that history.

By leveraging PSA data alongside documentation, runbooks, knowledge bases, security event logs, and workflows, our models develop a deeper understanding of how each MSP or IT team delivers services to its customers.

This creates faster time to value because organizations begin with the knowledge they already possess. It improves accuracy because recommendations are grounded in real-world operations. It also creates a common layer for continuous improvement because the platform can identify patterns, surface opportunities, and help teams optimize performance over time.

This is the difference between automation and an intelligent learning platform. Automation follows instructions, but an intelligent platform learns from outcomes.

Why the ConnectWise approach creates better outcomes

Every technology company is talking about AI right now. The more important conversation is how AI learns and where the intelligence comes from.

Many AI solutions in the market today operate as external applications connected through APIs. They can access information and automate tasks, but they often lack the context required to produce meaningful outcomes at scale. We believe the opposite approach creates more value.

The ConnectWise Platform was designed to embed intelligence into the platform itself.

Because AI operates directly on top of a unified data foundation, it has visibility into service operations, workflows, security events, automation processes, customer relationships, and historical business activity.

    That context changes everything.

Recommendations become more accurate because they are grounded in operational history. Automation becomes more effective because workflows are connected. AI agents become more valuable because they understand how work gets done across the organization.

This distinction becomes increasingly important as AI evolves from assistant to operator. The organizations that achieve the greatest value from AI will be the ones that provide intelligence with context, not just access to data.

How the ConnectWise Platform comes to life

The value of the platform becomes visible through the solutions MSPs and IT teams use every day.

With PSA now integrated into the platform experience, organizations gain tighter connections between service delivery, security operations, and business operations. Teams work from the same foundation rather than moving between disconnected systems.

Expanded workflow automation helps eliminate manual handoffs and reduce operational friction across service delivery.

ConnectWise Agentic brings AI agents directly into daily operations, helping technicians access information faster, complete routine tasks more efficiently, and work more effectively within existing workflows.

Across security operations, integrated cybersecurity capabilities help organizations improve visibility and accelerate response efforts while working from the same context.

Making the shift to Predictive IT: The five phases of predictive intelligence

Predictive intelligence is not a single technology. Predictive intelligence is a concept, an evolution through AI maturity resulting in the ability to scale operational output faster than headcount growth.

Organizations move through five phases of predictive intelligence:

    1. Operationalize AI
    2. Extend the workforce
    3. Supervise AI-driven workflows
    4. Enable autonomous operations
    5. Predictive Intelligence

Each phase builds on the last, increasing the role of AI in driving productivity, coordinating work, automating operations, and improving outcomes. As organizations advance, human expertise shifts from routine execution toward oversight, optimization, and strategic decision-making.

The journey looks different for every organization, but the foundation remains the same: connected data, integrated workflows, and intelligence grounded in operational context. That's exactly what the ConnectWise Platform is designed to provide.

    Looking ahead

This launch is not the finish line.

The industry is entering a new chapter of rapid change as AI moves from assisting work to helping drive it. We believe MSPs and IT teams need more than individual tools to succeed in that environment. They need a platform that brings together data, workflows, automation, security, and intelligence in a way that creates meaningful outcomes.

That's the future we're building toward, and we're just getting started.
