ConnectWise Unveils New Integrated User Interface, Product Names
IT Nation keynote demonstrates innovative unified platform that gives one-stop access to all ConnectWise solutions
ORLANDO, Fla. – Nov. 10, 2016 – ConnectWise launched its new, fully integrated user interface (UI) today by revealing to the more than 2,000 technology solutions providers attending IT Nation how they can now manage all ConnectWise business management solutions from a single point of access.
During his keynote address, CEO Arnie Bellini also announced the new names for ConnectWise’s four flagship solutions – ConnectWise Sell, ConnectWise Manage, ConnectWise Automate, and ConnectWise Control – as well as the company’s revamped corporate website.
“Last November at this very same conference, we promised a UI that would give our partners a seamless experience across the entire suite of ConnectWise products,” said Bellini. “Today we are delivering on that promise. What you see here is the culmination of months of dedication from ConnectWise design and engineering teams who were obsessed with delivering a platform that would allow our partners to work faster and more efficiently, and strengthen their client relationships. I could not be more proud of our colleagues and what they have accomplished.”
Bellini said the new UI brings together what had been separate tools for different products into a single platform that has a consistent look and common elements across all solutions. The result is an intuitive, easy-to-use tool that vastly simplifies the user experience.
Craig Fulton, ConnectWise’s VP of Product, said renaming the company’s key products was another step toward unification and simplification.
“The decision to change specific product names was not taken lightly, as ConnectWise products are well established with technology solution providers around the world,” he said. “However, not long into our journey of executing a shared product roadmap, we realized a consistent set of names would be essential to presenting a unified presence under the overall ConnectWise brand umbrella. I think that the new names announced today do just that while better reflecting the benefit that each solution provides and making it easier for current and prospective customers to find exactly what they need to solve business challenges.”
The new names that ConnectWise announced today include the following:
- ConnectWise Sell (formerly known as Quosal) is the company’s quote and proposal automation software
- ConnectWise Manage (formerly known as ConnectWise) is company’s business management software for professional services automation (PSA)
- ConnectWise Automate (formerly known as LabTech) is the company’s remote monitoring and management (RMM) software
- ConnectWise Control (formerly known as ScreenConnect) is the company’s remote control and remote access software solution
IT Nation is the largest annual event in the technology solutions provider industry. The three-day conference brings together from across the globe representatives of companies that sell, service and support technology. This year’s IT Nation runs through November 11.
