At ConnectWise, we’re always looking to innovate, improve, and go above and beyond to meet and exceed our partners’ needs and expectations, ultimately helping to take their business to the next level. We don’t refer to our customers as “customers” but as “partners.” Their success is our success.

Let’s take a look at some of the most recent improvements we’ve made to the solutions you use every day.

Simplification and efficiency

In ConnectWise Identify®, companies have been unified into a single view so you can now create, manage, and review everything about a company from a single dashboard. We’ve also included new in-app notifications for when a customer completes an assessment. Simply login to ConnectWise Identify, or start your trial with an SSO account.

Do you ever have clients who request to be added to certain types of tickets, or have a resource in your company that needs to be added to tickets of only certain clients or certain types of issues? You can now add resources to multiple tickets at once in ConnectWise Manage®, saving time and ensuring the proper people have visibility.

In ConnectWise Control®, we’ve added the ability to reorder the left navigation panel on the host page for quicker access to sessions. In addition, we’ve also added ability to set Backstage as the default connection type and created a toggle switch to host client to control clipboard sync. For increased clarity and ease of use, we’ve enhanced differentiation between notes, commands, and message tabs.

Quote templates in ConnectWise Sell® make it possible to create professional-looking quotes in just a few clicks. To make customizing quotes even simpler, we’ve added the ability to import documents into a proposal. This new functionality allows you or your sales reps to make additions to proposals by uploading documents and modifying rich text in the notes field.

You can also improve support insight and functionality with the latest updates to ConnectWise Automate®. With more titles being added into ConnectWise Now—including tiles to view engineer productivity and for owners or service managers to see the value of automation—ConnectWise Automate has never been better.

Security enhancements

With the ever-evolving nature of cybersecurity threats, it’s important to be able to circumnavigate threats before they come into fruition and evolve into serious problems. That’s why we’re constantly innovating to provide the highest-level security possible.

With our new security updates to ConnectWise Control, we’ve reduced the default number of password attempts and added validation on the two-factor one-time password field to improve setup. In addition, we’ve reduced default idle time for hosts and upgraded Mono to improve supportability of on-premises Linux installations.

Look and feel

We strive to make our products streamlined, efficient, and intuitive. ConnectWise Control has undergone a redesign this quarter to enhance the look and feel. These enhancements include updated end session dialog for more straightforward access session ending options, an updated connection banner style to be less intrusive, and a redesigned trigger page for easier use.

In addition, we’ve implemented minimums and saved column widths for the host page and redesigned timeline and converted details panel to vertical tabs. To give you optimal customization, we’ve added new shell themes for more personalized options.

Take ConnectWise on the go

If you haven’t seen the ConnectWise Mobile App this year, you haven’t seen it at all! We’ve created a brand new application that allows you to see your ConnectWise Manage agenda at a glance, update ticket statuses and notes, track time with a stopwatch feature, submit expenses, and more—all while on the go!
