Getting started at ConnectWise
What did you do before joining ConnectWise?
Before ConnectWise, I worked as the Implementation and Development Manager for other small software companies in the Tampa Bay area.
Being a ConnectWise colleague
What different roles have you had with ConnectWise?
Since I started at ConnectWise in 2014, I’ve been a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Manager of Sales Engineering, Product Manager, and now Director of Product for two of our business management products.
What do you enjoy about working at ConnectWise?
Our IT Nation community more than anything, because each partner’s story is different. The impact that our partners have on our everyday lives is incredible—supporting the doctors’ offices we go to, the restaurants we eat at, or even the schools our kids attend—it’s pretty amazing to think about.
What’s something about your job that makes you feel accomplished?
When I get to meet with a partner and show them something in our products that they didn’t know could help streamline a process or save them some time. Knowing how it’s going to change their quality of life on a day-to-day basis gives me a sense of accomplishment.
And now for some fun!
What’s a big win you’re really proud of?
I still hold the record for the 50m backstroke in the St Petersburg summer swim league from 1996.
If you can have any superpower for 24 hours, what would it be and why?
I would want Vision's superpower from the Avengers. There is so much information being held and processed by computers these days. To have the ability to access and process massive amounts of information so quickly could change the world.
What’s your go-to karaoke song?
If I have a female singing partner, it would be Love Shack by The B-52’s, but if I was solo it would probably be Superman by Five for Fighting.
What’s one bucket list item you’re most looking forward to?
Traveling throughout East Asia and experiencing the food, culture, and beautiful water.
