What to expect at IT Nation Explore

With IT Nation Explore kicking off tomorrow afternoon, we are so excited for you to join us for four free days of online training, sessions, and networking! Whether this is your first IT Nation Explore or you’re a veteran of IT Nation events in the past, things are going to be a little different this year as we transition to a fully virtual event! That’s why we’ve put together some information on what you can expect from IT Nation Explore this year to help you get ready for the event.

Tuesday, June 23 | 1:00pm - 5:30pm EST

Our first day of IT Nation Explore will hone in on information regarding PSA & Operations with focuses on ConnectWise Manage®, ConnectWise Sell®, and BrightGauge®, a ConnectWise solution. Tuesday will kick off with a welcome and company strategy keynote featuring Jason Magee and Craig Fulton.

Know how to keep your team motivated and held accountable, all while keeping their individual performance in view. Join BrightGauge Partner Success and Support Team leads Danielle Ungermann and Kristian Muñoz as we review tracking what's actionable, long-tail trends, plus tying goals and thresholds into your metrics to set a baseline for growth.

Power Your Profits: 7 Workflow Rules You Must Turn On

As a service provider, your goal is to ensure that anything that can be automated is. For this to happen, it is essential to design workflow rules to monitor the database for events and fill in the gaps between processes. Leave this session with the knowledge of our favorite workflow rules that help make your business more efficient.

Wednesday, June 24 | 1:00pm - 5:30pm EST

The second day of IT Nation Explore has a heavy RMM focus, with special attention to ConnectWise Automate®, ConnectWise Control®, and ConnectWise Command™. Wednesday will begin with a technology showcase, followed immediately by the ConnectWise platform keynote presented by Jeff Bishop, offering in-depth insight on the full suite of ConnectWise products.

Monitoring 201

Take it to the next level with this advanced session on monitoring with ConnectWise Automate. Dive deeper into details about remote monitors, including flipping, event log monitoring, and targeting mode. Other topics include state-based monitors, collection template monitors, creating internal monitors from scratch, internal monitors RAW SQL, and customizing tickets using scripts.

Thursday, June 25 | 1:00pm - 5:30pm EST

Day three of IT Nation Explore will be heavily focused on cybersecurity and security best practices, with high regard to ConnectWise Fortify™ and ConnectWise Recover™. The day will begin with the ConnectWise Cybersecurity solutions keynote.

Backup and Disaster Recovery Options in the ConnectWise Ecosystem

This session will overview the state of the BDR industry, common BDR challenges for MSPs, and how BDR solutions are adapting. It will look at the various integrated BDR options available from ConnectWise including Continuum Recover and the various third-party solutions available in the ConnectWise marketplace.

Conquering the Human Element

Knowing the greatest vulnerability to your MSP security is the Human Element, how do you train your employees in a way that truly modifies behavior? How do you go about educating them, and what do you focus on? We'll explore the caveats and options for creating a truly cybersecure culture in your own organization.

Friday, June 26 | 1:00pm - 5:30pm EST

The final day of IT Nation Explore will have a concentration on service delivery and operations best practices. The day will kick off with the MSPGeek™ Panel: The Power of Community.

How to Master Emotional Intelligence for IT Pros

Emotional Intelligence (EI), combined with technical competence, allows you to build a successful career. Your technical skills allow you to perform the tasks of your job, while your EI skills allow you to work successfully with your co-workers and customers. In this breakout session, you'll learn how to recognize emotions in yourself and others, how to respond appropriately to emotions, how to manage your own emotional responses, and how to influence a desired emotional response in others.

Lessons Learned as a Remote Team

Stack Advisors was working as a remote team long before the world suddenly changed. Today almost everyone has been forced to learn how to work remotely and stay connected. The first few weeks usually are not too bad, but long-term remote work is a new experience for most people. Stack Advisors will discuss some of the lessons they’ve learned after working remotely for over eight years. They will include tools used, and more importantly, the process they apply to stay connected and communicating. Join them to hear about hiring remotely, gauging employee satisfaction, adjusting to isolation, addressing the disconnects, and overall, how to stay aligned as a company.

These networking channels are real-time chatrooms for different topics that will be live throughout the event.

This “matchmaking” will be based on criteria you enter about yourself, along with some ConnectWise and AI magic to match you with likeminded folks. The platform even learns as you meet and chat with people what type of people you want to be meeting with!

Focus groups
