IT Nation is fast approaching. ConnectWise partners from across the country will come together in Orlando, FL for the premier tech event of the year. There’s a special part of IT Nation that helps more people than you could imagine—IT Nation Gives.

What is IT Nation Gives?

Giving back is very important to ConnectWise, and IT Nation Gives allows us to help organizations where we live and work. With so many people attending IT Nation every year, we saw this as an opportunity for our partners, sponsors, and colleagues to give back to the local community.

IT Nation Gives is a half-day event where volunteers visit and help a local organization. Our off-site events typically include small maintenance projects like painting and gardening, as well as building relationships with local youth.

We started IT Nation Gives four years ago and it has become one of the most popular parts of IT Nation. In the first year, IT Nation Gives started with 15 volunteers. That number doubled last year and we expect even more this November.

Who will IT Nation Gives help?

For the first time, we will be hosting events on-site and off-site.

Our off-site event will be at Orlando Day Nursery, a child care center committed to providing high-quality educational programs to help children achieve future educational success. We are passionate about technology and introducing it to younger generations. Working with Orlando Day Nursery will allow us to give back and inspire kids to look into the tech industry and the possibilities it offers.

The on-site event will benefit Meals of Hope, a local non-profit that provides meals in the Orlando area. Since IT Nation takes place in November, we wanted to provide meals for the holiday season. With Meals of Hope, we purchase the supplies, Meals of Hope helps with the setup of the food, and our volunteers will pack each meal kit. This event will be in the IT Nation Gives zone outside of the Solutions Pavilion. Attendees who sign up can stop by, measure out food portions, and pack a meal. Our goal is to provide 10,000 meal kits by the end of IT Nation. Knowing our partners and colleagues, we can hit that number and so many more.

ConnectWise Foundation

A big part of ConnectWise is trying to build stronger communities. This is done through the ConnectWise Foundation. We promote philanthropy throughout our organization and encourage our colleagues to give back. We’re focused on areas surrounding technology, education, and youth. Technology can change the future; as a company, we’re hoping to provide that for future generations.

You still have time to register to IT Nation and IT Nation Gives. Spots fill up fast, so sign up now for your chance to give back to the community and spread the joy of technology to future generations.
