As we draw closer to ConnectWise’s 2019 Q3 IT Nation Share events, you might be wondering what to expect. We could tell you ourselves—but why not hear it from the team that makes these events possible? Let us introduce you to Brittney Bacon and Lisa Desimine who are here to tell you what’s in store this quarter…

Brittney Bacon

Brittney Bacon is an IT Nation Events Manager who has been eagerly anticipating attending our events in Atlanta and Dallas. The logistics of the event are Brittney’s domain, from budgeting to planning and everything in between—and she’s more excited to see everyone at the next IT Nation Share event.

What makes this event stand out from previous ones? All new this quarter is a session about ConnectWise Identify®, a powerful cybersecurity risk assessment tool that will help you protect your company and your customers from security breaches large and small. We know cybersecurity is a major concern for everyone in the industry right now, so this session is a must-see.

“There are so many security risks in 2019,” Brittney said. ”It’s important to invest time to educate yourself and your team on how to minimize these risks. We can give you these tips and tricks at IT Nation Share this quarter.”

What else is new? Well, we’ll also be adding a Closing Reception immediately after the majority of our IT Nation Share events. This will replace the happy hour and dinner the night before.

So, what prompted this change? We realized that this way, attendees will have more time than ever before to network with fellow industry professionals and pick the brains of our subject matter experts. Got a question about their session? Now is your chance to ask them directly in a relaxed and friendly environment.

This new addition gives you the chance to let off a little steam and connect with other ConnectWise users, all while enjoying delicious cocktails and plenty of hors d'oeuvres. A fantastic way to end the event, if you ask Brittney.

As for first timers? Brittney strongly encourages any first-time IT Nation Share attendees to swing by First Timers Orientation. This 30-minute session, led by the IT Nation Share Facilitators and volunteer gurus, is entirely optional—but it’s both worthwhile and a lot of fun. There, you’ll be eased into the day with an in-depth look at the agenda. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask any and all questions you may have.

One more thing: be sure to check out the hands-on labs in the morning and afternoon. Filled with helpful training and advice, these product labs are the best way to learn actionable tips and techniques to help you make the most of the ConnectWise products. The more you learn at IT Nation Share, the more tools you’ll have to grow your business—and wow your clients.

“Can’t wait to see everyone this quarter!” enthused Brittney.

Lisa Desimine

Next up, we spoke to Lisa Desimine, IT Nation Share Program Manager, who will be joining the Chicago and Philadelphia ConnectWise communities at IT Nation Share in Q3. She’s in charge of planning content for the event, assigning speakers, planning meetups, and more—so you have Lisa to thank for all the amazing sessions you attend.

For this quarter’s IT Nation Share events, Lisa promises a whole round of engaging product training breakouts. There are three great sessions to choose from, covering ConnectWise Manage®, ConnectWise Sell®, and cybersecurity! Get excited, because these are going to be our most in-depth training breakouts yet. You’ll learn how to shorten your sales cycle, deliver a flawless handoff from sales to service, and much more. We’ve also built in more time for Q&As and discussions with our subject matter experts after each breakout, making these learning opportunities even more beneficial.

“It’s a great way to learn more about the products,” Lisa said. “But it’s also an opportunity for our partners to share their knowledge.”

For those who weren’t able to attend IT Nation Explore, we’re also including two ConnectWise Automate® sessions this quarter. If your colleagues want to learn more about ConnectWise Automate, why not invite them along? At IT Nation Share, it really is the more, the merrier.

Lisa’s best piece of advice for all IT Nation Share attendees? Network! The schedule is purposefully designed to include intimate events that provide the opportunity to learn from different companies. IT Nation Share is a great place to rub elbows with colleagues and peers—and to connect over ConnectWise.

“IT Nation Share is really the one place where, quarter after quarter, you can attend and have conversations with your Account Manager, ConnectWise colleagues of all levels, and other partners,” Lisa said. “Bringing more product training, labs, and product content in new ways will just amp up the experience!”

Lisa also encourages all attendees to fill out the IT Nation Share survey. We send this out to everyone post-event, so be sure to check your inbox. We really want to hear what you have to say—our team reads all your comments and feedback and takes it into account to shape our future events. So, if there’s something you wanted to see this quarter that we didn’t have time to cover, let us know, and we’ll do our very best to incorporate it next time.

In the meantime, if you haven’t registered yet, there’s no time like the present.

“This quarter will be our best one yet, so register today!” Lisa said. “We’ll see you on the road.”
