The holiday season is one of our favorites to celebrate here at ConnectWise. We’ve got plenty of traditions we keep around the office, from the sales team’s annual white elephant gift exchange, to our office-wide Tacky Christmas Sweater Friday and annual holiday party. There are never enough ways to celebrate around the ConnectWise office!
But of course, we always keep the reason for the season in mind. So what’s our favorite holiday tradition? Our annual ConnectWise Foundation gift drive for Tampa Bay’s Success 4 Kids & Families (S4KF).
How We Give Back
Each year, S4KF stops by to provide ConnectWise with name cards representing families in need in our local community. ConnectWise colleagues have the opportunity to choose a specific family and provide the toys on each child’s wish list. We also ask colleagues to contribute as much as they can toward holiday meals so each family can celebrate the holiday with a full spread of festive fare.

In 2015 we raised nearly $4,000 to donate toward meals for families in need and took 100 families under our wing for the gift drive. It’s one small way we invest in our community each year.
Why We Give Back
We are extremely aware of our corporate and social responsibilities and the impact we can make in our local community. We founded the ConnectWise Foundation in 2014 to promote a culture of philanthropy for our colleagues. But our relationship with S4KF goes back much further. This year will be our 7th season working with this outstanding charity, and in that time we’ve provided over 1,500 children with holiday gifts and food.
Our foundation focuses on 4 key areas of philanthropic commitment:
- STEM Mentoring
Working with Success 4 Kids & Families helps us fulfill two of these key commitments: youth and education. So far, 85% of the children they have served remain in their homes and schools—and out of mental health facilities and jail. We are proud to support a charity that is so dedicated to improving the lives of kids and families in our local community.
Happy Holidays, ConnectWise’rs!
