ConnectWise awards recap 2018

| By: Arnie Bellini

At ConnectWise, we dedicate ourselves to the success of our partners and the industry and we’re so proud that our hard work is being recognized.

Our people are what make this company a success, and I’m thrilled to announce the series of awards we’ve received as a result of those people. After being named one of the top 100 companies in Tampa Bay this spring, we’re here to share new recognitions that make each of us proud to be a member of the ConnectWise team.

ConnectWise Manage wins big in 2018

ConnectWise Manage® was named the Best MSP Solution at MSP World in March. The unanimous decision was made by select members of the MSP community. Our team has put years of hard work and dedication into making ConnectWise Manage the business management solution it is today and this win is very special and very humbling.

ConnectWise Manage also won IT Europa’s SaaS SMB Solution of the Year! Now in its tenth year, The European IT & Software Excellence Awards attract several hundred entries from all over Europe, with 29 countries represented amongst the finalists. This particular accolade is given to IT solutions that get to the heart of customer issues and deliver better business while providing a clearer understanding of data and more efficient and profitable outcomes for its users.

Last, but not least, of the ConnectWise Manage wins is the Channelnomics Award for Best PSA for 2018. To be considered for the award, nominees needed to offer significant support and innovation to their partners, plus be considered best-of-breed in their class. The Channelnomics MSP Awards celebrate the players in the space who’ve taken the lead in their field, set the stage for the future of their products, and recognized MSPs across North America that bring forward thinking, excitement, and success to the channel.

CRN’s Women of the Channel

April Taylor, Vice President of ConnectWise Manage, and Kathy Smith, Senior Vice President of ConnectWise Services and Education, were named to CRN’s prestigious 2018 Women of the Channel list. This prestigious list spans the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers, and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each member is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision, and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.

April Taylor began her career at ConnectWise in January 2006 as an implementation and support consultant. She quickly became a sales executive and then served as the sales support manager, where she supported and managed the sales engineering team and internal projects/initiatives for the sales team. Today, April manages the product lifecycle and software development lifecycle of ConnectWise Manage, and leads product management programs, including the Partner Innovation Network (PIN).

During her tenure with the company, Kathy Smith has built a team of more than 100 consultants who provide online educational material, training initiatives, implementations, 1-on-1 consulting, and much more. She also oversees a team of more than 200 colleagues who deliver industry-leading support to all ConnectWise partners.

These awards are the result of serious dedication, and I’m proud to congratulate every colleague on their series of epic wins!
