The 4 Types of People You Meet at IT Nation

With over 2,500 attendees anticipated at this year’s IT Nation, it reigns as the largest event in the technology solutions provider industry. Business owners and managers, ConnectWise admins, sales and marketing gurus, technicians and more will all be flocking to Orlando to learn, network and grow their businesses.

But with an event this huge, there’s bound to be an eclectic crew. These are the 4 types of attendees you’re most likely to meet at IT Nation:

1. The Networker

These attendees know the value of collaboration, and aren’t afraid to start up a chat. They’ll be the first through the door at our Welcome Reception in the Solutions Pavilion, and the bus to every party. They arrive with a stack full of business cards, and leave with too many LinkedIn connections to count.

Take a tip from these attendees and work the crowd! The most valuable tool to any networker are our Birds of a Feather lunch tables, with table topics to help you meet the people you’re looking for. And for the first time ever, we’re introducing meet-ups to IT Nation. These organized meetings will cover topics such as specific User Groups, Women in IT and groups based by size.

2. The Newbie

It’s their first IT Nation, and they’re a bit overwhelmed by all of the madness. Who knew so much learning and networking could be jam-packed into just 3 days! You’ll most likely find the newbie staring a map, or taking a break in one of our recharge lounges. Things can get crazy out there.

If you find yourself as a new attendee this year, have no fear – the ConnectWise Community is here! Start a conversation using #ITN15 on social or join a conversation on the ConnectWise Forums to connect with other attendees before you land in Orlando. ConnectWise partners are some of the friendliest, most collaborative folks around and are always willing to welcome a newbie to the fun.

3. The Scholar

The scholar came to IT Nation to learn – and learn he will! With over 200 breakout topics covering in-depth ConnectWise product training plus thought-leadership and business acumen, IT Nation has every topic covered.

Notebook in hand, the scholar will have all of his sessions planned out via the IT Nation app. Be sure to follow his lead once breakouts are posted; we release the agenda well before November so you can get in there and plan your day, your way.

4. The Guru

Ah, the old IT Nation seasoned professional. With IT Nation in its eleventh year, we’ve got a lot of attendees who have been coming for quite some time. They see the value in IT Nation, and have watched their business transform with the growth of the event.

But just because you’re a guru, doesn’t mean there isn’t something new! ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini always delivers a keynote filled with the latest and greatest from the ConnectWise Business Suite of Products, and gurus wouldn’t dare miss our guest keynote. We encourage these attendees to show the new guys the ropes, and take advantage of everything new we’re introducing at IT Nation 2015.
