The first ConnectWise Manage update of 2019 improves status updating, increases client visibility, and more.

  • Calendar Status Change: Update the status right in the My Calendar screen by right-clicking on the record and selecting the Change Status option.
  • Automatic CC’s on Tickets: Keep your clients in the loop in tickets submitted by their teams by adding them as a CC to their tickets as soon as they come in.
  • Private Events Sync to ConnectWise Manage: Don’t worry about being double booked again when your private events in Outlook now sync over to ConnectWise Manage. Block off your calendar while keeping event details private.

  • Special Order Check Box: Ensure products are ordered from distributors correctly. Inside ConnectWise Manage, the Special Order Check Box ensures line items with the same manufacturer part number don’t get combined to be purchased together.
  • Output Grid Preview: When making customizations to your output documents, you can quickly preview exactly what they’ll look like for your customers.

In the latest update to ConnectWise Sell, indicate when items should be ordered together, what’s part of a special order, and an update to the Ingram Micro catalog.

Ship Shape Information Send: When the Special Order check box is selected for an item, enter information into the Ship Set field and pass this information to the ConnectWise Manage opportunity to indicate which items should be ordered together.

Ingram Micro Catalog Price Feed: Ingram Micro® has switched from FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) but has extended their FTP price feed until June 29, 2019. Update your Ingram Micro price fee to SFTP in Catalog Settings as soon as possible.

Import Items as Special Order: With the new Special Order check box, you can save time by marking all items as a special order during a product import using Paste Quote. Items that are already in your product catalog in ConnectWise Manage are set as special orders when the opportunity is updated. This feature makes importing and quoting Cisco products even easier.

The latest update to ConnectWise Control improves tech monitor visibility, external user management, error logging, and more.

Split Guest Monitors: With one click, hosts can split guest monitors into separate windows and maximize them across each of their own monitors.

Manage External Users: Administrators can now add a link to the Security tab to access the user management page of their external user source.

Guest Client Logging: Client-side errors are now added to the Event log with information from recent connection failures.
