Software Installation Engineer
Job description
Install and configure ConnectWise PSA software on remote servers.
Summary/Objectives
This position is responsible for working directly with new customers on the initial installation of the ConnectWise PSA software as well as providing tier 3 technical support. Software runs on an IIS web server and interacts with other external packages such as Microsoft Exchange and various managed services platforms.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must have the following skills and experience:
- Detail oriented with good communications and organizational skills
- Self-managed
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Knowledge of Windows XP and VISTA operating systems
- Experience or education with Windows 2003, IIS and SQL are REQUIRED
- Terminal Service, Exchange, Active Directory, DNS and Citrix are a plus.
Education
- Bachelors Degree in IT related field REQUIRED
- Certifications in MCSE, A+ and Net + preferred
Experience
1 – 3 years of experience in the above listed areas.
Compensation:
$30,000 to $40,000 depending on education and experience with quarterly bonus potential as well as many perks.
