ConnectWise Partner Summit 2007
Over 600 ConnectWise Partners joined us for the third-annual ConnectWise Partner Summit.
We value our partners and our business relationship which makes it imperative to us that we continually look for new ways to bring enhanced service, support and satisfaction. The annual ConnectWise Partner Summit is a great example of this commitment. Every ConnectWise employee attending the event is totally committed to helping our partners optimize their business. A major part of that commitment is delivering the most comprehensive and interactive Partner Summit year after year.
Unprecedented Opportunities. Unpredictable Threats. Let's face it - your market opportunities have never been greater. And that can only mean one thing: there will be others trying to crash the party. So how do you prepare for the onslaught? Mark Smith from Outsource Channel Executives shared his secrets for competition-proofing your business. We also showed you how ConnectWise Downstream IT will enable you to deliver enhanced Virtual CIO capabilities that are sure to make you shine with your clients. We shared exciting updates regarding the ConnectWise Network and how it will help you expand existing services and reach new geographic markets.
The Bottom Line is the Bottom Line. Learning how to capitalize on new opportunities was only the start. We partnered with CMP's Institute for Partner Education and Development (IPED) to bring you a benchmark study of key financial measurements that will help you maximize your managed services practice. Ryan Morris shared the findings. Speaking of
managed services, the Partner Summit just would not have been complete without CRN's Steve Burke talking about the hottest trends. Steve's interactive panel discussion really got us talking about how well we are positioned to beat Dell and CDW in this lucrative services space.
Additionally, Larry Schulze, president of The Taylor Business Group discussed how to better manage the budget process and John Killian, president of AntFarm brought forward ways to help you improve services for growth and profitability. Mike Vizard, senior vice president of Ziff-Davis Enterprises, lead a discussion on Channel 2.0 with a distinguished and varied group of panelists.
Finally, to help put things into big-picture perspective, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak joined us on stage and brought a deeper understanding of how innovative technology can forever change the business landscape. The Woz received a standing ovation from the crowd!
What's New, What's Next? Think Big. So where does that leave us? Arnie Bellini and the ConnectWise executive team took a look at market dynamics and emerging trends that will create unprecedented opportunities for your business. By building elements essential to a winning IT strategy, bolstered by the power of ConnectWise, attendees learned how to create new revenue opportunities and streamline operations.

Of course, much of the value received year after year at the Partner Summit comes outside the sessions as you share ideas with our team, our cutting-edge exhibitors and other ConnectWise partners. This partnership and opportunity to learn extends well beyond the Partner Summit. Some may even say it just begins as attendees return to their operations and implement all they learned from the dedicated group of participants that make up the ConnectWise community, including the ConnectWise team, exhibitors, speakers and fellow ConnectWise partners.
