Microsoft Small Business Accounting now supported by ConnectWise PSA

New SBA support features offered free-of-charge to ConnectWise PSA
BOSTON – July 11, 2006 – Technology solution providers looking to fully integrate the power of their Microsoft Small Business Accounting (SBA) software with other business operations can now turn to ConnectWise PSA. The business automation software, designed exclusively for technology consultants, integrators and developers, helps small-to-midsized companies more efficiently manage key operations ranging from lead and project management to client services and billing.

Specifically, the technology enables IT services organizations to:

  • Better identify and pursue the best leads
  • Successfully convert opportunities into winning deals
  • Effectively manage and deliver promised services
  • Accurately track and forecast revenue, invoices, and billing
The real-time integration with Microsoft SBA will be offered to ConnectWise partners at no additional charge as an extension of their current ConnectWise solution. The company recently unveiled an enhanced PDA version of its software, ConnectWise Mobile, which allows technicians to retrieve their work schedules and report billable hours via mobile device. By synchronizing workflow between home office and field personnel, dispatchers can more conveniently monitor schedules and fewer timekeeping omissions are made. Real-time integration to the technician’s Outlook calendar also assures that clients are receiving the quickest, most attentive service. The product works both on- and off-line, eliminating the dependency on Internet connectivity.

“More than 12,686 IT solution providers rely on ConnectWise to help lower costs, increase revenue and significantly improve customer satisfaction,” said Arnie Bellini, ConnectWise president. “Many of these companies use Microsoft SBA to manage their billing, but until now, they’ve not been able to fully realize the efficiencies of harnessing their back-office accounting operations with their front-office sales and services engines. ConnectWise delivers a powerful, affordable way to accomplish this.”

“While we quickly realized the advantages ConnectWise’s solution could offer our business, we were reluctant to make the jump until now,” noted Blane Bunderson, director for Structure X, a Lake Charles, La.-based solutions provider. “ConnectWise’s new support for Microsoft SBA was without question the defining factor in our move to leverage the business automation application. What used to take us about 32 hours a month to manually transfer data between applications can now be done in real time using the ConnectWise solution.”

ConnectWise supports a wide range of accounting solutions, integrating with:

  • QuickBooks
  • MAS 90
  • MAS 200
  • Microsoft Dynamics / Great Plains
