ConnectWise Appoints Santo Cannone Chief Operating Officer

TAMPA, Fla. – April 11, 2007 – ConnectWise, the only web-based professional services automation software designed exclusively for technology solutions providers, has named Santo Cannone chief operating officer. In this strategic leadership role reporting to ConnectWise Chief Executive Officer Arnie Bellini, Cannone will oversee the company’s day-to-day operational activities including continued execution of its business plan and the expansion of educational and consulting programs.

Prior to joining ConnectWise, Cannone was senior vice president, real-time banking systems, for Fidelity Information Services (FIS), a provider of information technology services to the financial industry. In this role, Cannone established strong market momentum for two of the company’s flagship products offerings by improving sales processes and emphasizing customer service.

In addition to his experience at FIS, Cannone was vice president, consulting operations, for Tampa, Fla.-based IDEAL Consulting, a software consulting firm specializing in mid-tier solutions. While at IDEAL, Cannone positioned the organization to broaden its offerings and more effectively compete in larger enterprise-wide deals, ultimately closing two of the largest deals in the company’s history.

Previously, Cannone was a managing director with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where he oversaw the development and delivery of the first enterprise-class client/server system in its market. Cannone’s other experiences include management roles in product development, sales and marketing, professional services and customer service.

Cannone earned a bachelor of science degree from Drexel University and holds a master’s degree in management from Pennsylvania State University.
