ConnectWise Pitches IT Nation Vision of Channel Community

ORLANDO, FLA – Arnie Bellini has had enough of IT solution providers being branded by others. Bellini, CEO of professional services automation vendor and Tampa Bay-based solution provider ConnectWise kicked off the company’s partner conference here by proposing a new, solution provider-developed name for the channel.
“We’ve always been defined by everyone else. Manufacturers call us resellers. Distributors call us VARs. How about we come up with a name for ourselves?” Bellini told the crowd of 1,200, representing 900 of ConnectWise’s worldwide solution provider customers. “That’s what we’re doing with the IT Nation.”
